In that time Sproutpeople produced over 200 Tons of sprouts - the same way you do at home: We Rinsed and Drained our sprouts 2-3 times daily, over a sink. We chose to keep our sprout growing a manual operation because we've never seen a machine that can come close to producing the same high quality sprout we can! God knows we searched! Because of that, you will find that all of the Sprouters we sell are manual. Trust us, sprouting is easy, you do not need a machine. When it comes down to it, manual sprouting even saves you time - as automatic sprouters are very time consuming to clean. And your crops will be better than any machine can produce. Oh - these cost less too. WAY LESS. It is our belief that the simple task of growing sprouts by hand will teach you something about life by teaching you about plants and their needs. Sprouts will become more a part of your life if you tend to them and care for and about them. All that is required is that you spend about 30 seconds 2-3 times a day, Rinsing and Draining your crop. The best sprouter ever for growing vertical Leafy sprouts, the SproutMaster is very versatile - it can sprout virtually anything. It is even able to grow Grass, Greens and Micro-Greens - with proper care and perhaps a growing medium. We sell two configurations 1) A Single tray that measure 8x10 inches. 2) Three trays that measures 5x6 inches each. SproutMaster trays are stackable - add trays to build your own sprout skyscraper. Hemp Bag Made by SproutPeople The perfect Bean and Grain sprouter. The Hemp Bag is even capable of growing Leafy and Brassica sprouts (though it takes extra care to do those well). It's also excellent for Micro-Greens (it acts as a planting medium). The best travel sprouter ever, it folds up flat and does a great job on a backpack or in a hotel sink! Superior drainage and air-circulation. Jars and Lids Jars & Lids are purchased on the Jars & Lids page. The least expensive, most basic sprouter. Jars have less air-circulation and drainage than more advanced sprouting devices, but they are a fine choice for any skilled sprouter or for those willing to work a bit harder at rinsing and draining. We sell 1 and 2 Quart Jars and a variety of Screen Lids. Come here to buy them. We have a wonderful new 3-Lid Set to show you. Miniature Garden The only device made just for Micro-Greens! Small and attractive. Great for sprouting at work. Just sprinkle small seeds on the moist felt pads and watch 'em grow! Not a big crop sprouter, but very fun and attractive! The Mini-Garden has 4 trays, each measuring approximately 4x5 inches. Trays Individual Trays are available on the Tray page. This is the way we grew all of our commercial sprouts (over 200 tons!), as well as our 100,000 plus units of Grass, Greens and Micro-Greens! We recommend these to you for soil, Vermiculite or Baby Blanket based crops only. It's easy: Pre-sprout (if necessary) for a day or so - then spread them on your thoroughly moistened medium, cover the Tray for a few days (watering as directed) and when it's time; un-cover and Green your plants. There is nothing to it! Note: The drainage slots/holes on these trays are not suitable for growing sprouts. Stick with Grass, Greens and Micro-Greens =:-) Bio-Set A low rinse European sprouter with 3 growing trays, a drip tray/base and a top, reservoir tray. Less air-circulation and drainage than other sprouters, but quite popular despite our unfavorable review. Fine for big seeds and attractive. Please Don't buy this. The Tube We are very sad to say that The Tube has ceased to exist. We will remove it from our site all together, very soon. Very good drainage and exceptional air-circulation. Crystal clear heavy duty plastic make the Tube our top choice for kids who sprout, but it is a great choice for adults too. Comes with 3 Screen Lids and 1 Solid Lid. Sprouts virtually any seed. * - Virtually, in this case, refers to the inability to grow mucilaginous seeds. This is not a limitation. Those seeds need to be grown as Micro-Greens, they are not technically Sprouts.
